The Big Pavilion, a classic landmark on the Saugatuck, Michigan waterfront from 1909 to May 13, 1960, when it was destroyed by fire. The huge frame building housed a Ballroom, Roller Rink, The Dock, a famous bar. For over half a century it provided dockage for steamships and pleasure craft as well as a recreational center for residents and visitors.
