She has degrees in Printing (1978), Painting (1988), and Art History (1991), all from Aquias College in Grand Rapids. Jenkins is represented in many public collections, including the Muskegon Museum of Art, Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids Community College and the Saugatuck Douglas History Center.
